남가주 충청향우회 상반기 이사회
남가주 충청향우회(회장 이은숙)는 지난 15일 LA 한인타운 신북경에서 2026년 상반기 이사회를 가졌다.
남가주 충청향우회(회장 이은숙)는 지난 15일 LA 한인타운 신북경에서 2026년 상반기 이사회를 갖고 이·취임식, 거북이 마라톤, 골프 토너먼트 등 주요 활동 및 사업 성과를 공유하고 향후 계획을 논의했다. 이날 이사회에서는 향후 지역사회와 차세대를 위한 장학금 전달 계획도 함께 논의됐다. 이은숙(글로리아 이) 회장은 “친목 도모를 넘어 지역사회와 함께 성장하는 단체가 될 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 밝혔다.

The Southern California Chungcheong Association held an appreciation event at Shriners Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, which has provided free medical treatment to Korean children with severe and rare illnesses.
Through its long-running “Love Through Healing” program, the association has partnered with the hospital for 17 years to offer free medical care to 252 burn victims and children with congenital deformities under the age of 17 from financially disadvantaged families. Based on this longstanding relationship, the association has continued its support of the hospital to this day.
During the visit, the Chungcheong Association donated $5,000 to the hospital and hosted a barbecue party, while also distributing boxed meals to approximately 200 people, including medical staff, employees, patients, and their families.
